On the old Road of Nonantolana there is a farm house from 600 which in the past served as a postillion for the old alike bridge over the river Panaro. Towards the end of 700 it abandoned its old mantle and the farm house became a convent as you can recognize even today on the rooms in the characteristic style of prayer cabinets each originally with its own fireplace, separated from the big atrium.
Towards the end of 800 the convent turned to become a mill that served the whole area. Soon, Il Mulino di Navicello changed from propulsion through animals to a kerosene motor and at the end of 20 turned electrical. The Second World War left vivid memories to the mill and its family Rossi who lived there. In the post war time Ludovico Rossi the head of the family returned from the Ägeis with a few barrels, determined to express his passion by creating and distributing over the years that jewel that is still cared for inside the loft of the mill. Nowadays this jewel gives value to other more recent jewels as the antique shop in the old rooms of the convent and the shop for the enthusiasts of oenology.
